RE:	Friends of the Lawrence Public Library sign request

The Friends of the Lawrence Public Library will be holding its used book sale April 4 – April 12 and requests (see attached) approval to place yard signs between 6^th and 9^th Streets and between Massachusetts and Tennessee Streets on or after the morning of Friday, April 4 and remove them on or before the afternoon of Saturday, April 12.

The Friends of the Lawrence Public Library is a non-profit organization that has given the Lawrence Public Library over $500,000 since 2000.

ACTION: Approve as “signs of community interest” a request from the Friends of the Lawrence Public Library to place yard signs between 6^th and 9^th Streets and between Massachusetts and Tennessee Streets on or after the morning of Friday, April 4 and remove them on or before the afternoon of Saturday, April 12.
