RE:	Lawrence Region Antique Automobile Club of America Sign Request

The Lawrence Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) is holding the “The Lawrence Swap Meet” on May 2 – 4, 2008 and requests (see attached) approval to temporarily erect directional and notification signs along 23^rd Street in the area of the Douglas County Fairgrounds. The signs will be placed in the rights-of-way from May 2 – 4.

The Lawrence Region AACA is a non-profit organization and one of 400 regional clubs of the AACA.

ACTION: Approve as a “sign of community interest” a request from the Lawrence Region Antique Automobile Club of America to temporarily erect directional and notification signs along 23^rd Street in the area of the Douglas County Fairgrounds.
