CONTRA
Parks and
Recreation bid out contract mowing for district #1, 2, and 3. (See attachment).
The Parks & Recreation Department
does not have sufficient staffing to maintain these right-of-ways and City
properties and our analysis indicates it would be more efficient to contract
for these services.
The bid
was written as a renewable contract for two additional one year periods providing
funds are available and both parties agree.
This was budgeted in the 2008 budgeting process.
