STAFF PRESENT FOR BID OPENING on March 11, 2008:  Tony L. Hoch, Larry E. Hamm, Alan Landis.

 

COMPREHENSIVE HOUSING REHABILITATION SCOPE OF WORK:

 

956 Lawrence Ave: Foundation stabilization and drainage.

 

1729 Louisiana: Lead based paint issues.  Roof replacement and minor fascia repairs. Replace water heater.  Install metal dryer vent, repair foundation cracks and plug chimney hole.  Window repair for all windows, jamb liners and trough liners for lead based paint issues.  Laminate drywall ceilings in kitchen and bathroom.  Install floor coverings in bath and refinish wood floor in kitchen.  New toilet, sink and lighting in bathroom.  Install GFCI’s and minor electrical repair.  Install handrail for stairs.  Minor interior painting. 

 

2225 Barker Ave:  Lead based paint issues.  Sidewalk replacement.  Reline built-in gutters and reroof house.  Paint exterior of house and shed.  Replace furnace, dryer vent and washer drain connection.  Wiring system repair.  Install dishwasher air-gap and GFCI’s.  Refinish wood floors in two rooms.  Reset toilets and floor covering in one bathroom.  Install code compliant closet light fixtures.  For lead based paint issues, repair all windows with jamb liners, trough liners and provide mulch on bare soil at drip-lines of porch and house.
