RE:	City of Lawrence/Destination Management, Inc. agreement for Convention and Visitors Bureau Services

Staff recommends approval of the attached agreement between the City of Lawrence and Destination Management, Inc. (DMI) for the operation and management of the Lawrence Convention and Visitors Bureau. The agreement, which was approved by the DMI Board of Directors at their February 7, 2008 meeting, provides for the transfer, accounting and expenditure of City Transient Guest Tax Funds.

ACTION: Approve agreement for services between the City of Lawrence and Destination Management, Inc. to operate the Lawrence Convention and Visitors Bureau.
