RE:	Pilot Club of Lawrence Sign Request

Pilot Club of Lawrence requests approval to place a sign at the northwest corner of Harper & 23rd streets, on the US Bank property, advertising their Antique Show & Sale. The sign will read "Antique Show" with an arrow pointing north and will be comparable in size to a real estate sign. The sign would be put up on the morning of the first day of the show, Feb 29th, and taken down at the end of the show on March 2nd. Pilot Club of Lawrence is a non-profit organization and proceeds from the show will go to local community projects.

ACTION: Approve as a “sign of community interest” a request from Pilot Club of Lawrence to place a sign promoting their antique show on the US Bank Property at Harper and 23^rd streets from February 29 to March 2, 2008.
