RE:	Appointments to Boards and Commissions

I recommend the following individuals for the appointments listed below. I have included phone numbers, if available. Please feel free to call any of them to discuss their potential appointments. I believe they are willing to answer your questions or receive any comments you might have.

Lawrence Arts Commission:

Appoint Amy Kelly (843.8635) to the position vacated by Sandra Wiechert, which expires 01/31/10.

Historic Resources Commission:

Reappoint Matthew Veatch (865.4252) and Jay Antle (842.9336) to second terms which expire 03/01/11.

Public Transit Advisory Committee:

Appoint Lyle Hettinger (842.2053) to the position that expired 12/31/07 and appoint Howard Hill (842.3922) to the vacant position that expires 12/31/08.
