Motion to waive reading of the minutes from the April 9^th meeting by Larry McElwain, seconded by Dinah Lovitch (5-0)

Discussion on recent articles about Senate Bill 77 regarding smaller departments not reporting complaints, those departments are now up to speed

Discussion about 1 profiling complaint received thus far in which the complainant has failed to follow-up on

Discussion about the status of in-car video for police vehicles

Pro’s and Con’s for having in-car video

Currently not in the 2008 budget

The board then began a discussion about drafting a letter advocating in-car video to protect against racial profiling

The discussion was tabled until the next scheduled meeting

Chief Olin discussed the new personnel changes at City Hall

Next meeting scheduled for December 10^th (later changed to January 28^th)
