RE:	Appointments to Boards and Commissions

I recommend the following individuals for the appointments listed below.  I have included phone numbers, if available.  Please feel free to call any of them to discuss their potential appointments.  I believe they are willing to answer your questions or receive any comments you might have.

Fire Code Board of Appeals:

Reappoint Dan Wilkus (842.6906) to an additional term that will expire 01/31/11.  Appoint Stephen M. Blanchard Jr., (856.2344) to the term that will be vacated by Tom Waechter and will expire 01/31/11.

Lawrence-Douglas County Metropolian Planning Commission:

Appoint Hugh Carter (785.271.1300) to the un-expired position held by Joe Harkins, which expires 05/31/09.
