RE:	Appointments to Boards and Commissions

I recommend the following individuals for the appointments listed below.  I have included phone numbers, if available.  Please feel free to call any of them to discuss their potential appointments.  I believe they are willing to answer your questions or receive any comments you might have.

Bicycle Advisory Committee:

Appoint Neil Taylor, Lawrence-Douglas County Fire Department, to the vacated position that expires 12/31/09.  Appoint Jay Bialek to his first full term which expires 12/31/10.

Parks & Recreation Advisory Board:

Appoint Jana Dobbs (838.9400) and Kevin Loos (838.9758) to their first full terms that  expire 12/31/11.

Sustainability Advisory Board:

Appoint Paul Dietz (856.1533) and Simram Sethi (865.8021) to their first full terms that  expire 12/31/10.

Uniform Building Code Board of Appeals:

Reappoint Mark Stogsdill (842.0044), Janet Smalter (841.8388), and John Craft (832.2091) to additional terms that will expire 11/30/10.  Appoint Neal Ezell to his first full term that expires 11/30/10.
