DRAFT  City statement

The City of Lawrence, the City Commission, and City staff accept this finding by the Attorney General’s office, agrees to accept responsibility for the finding, and will strictly follow the requirements of the settlement agreement.  Specifically, the City Commission will schedule the required training session on the Kansas Open Meetings Act to be conducted as a public meeting.

The City and the City Commission is pledged to strict adherence to the requirements of the Kansas Open Meetings Act.
