Vacation of Sewer Easement 1140 Indiana |
In 1952 a 5 ft. sanitary sewer easement across property located at 1140 Indiana Street was dedicated to the city. To the best of city staff knowledge this easement has never been used, and the city has no known current or future need for this easement. The property is being sold and the contract buyer, Triple T, LLC, 643 Massachusetts Street, Suite 300, Lawrence, KS 66044 desires to vacate this easement.
All utilities, as well as property owners within 200 feet, were notified. No objections were received.
The city has reviewed all the records and staff is recommending approval of this vacation.
Action Requested: Hold public hearing and, pending discussion, approve order of vacation if appropriate.
