FOUR (4) 35 YARD REFUSE COMPACTORS – #B07041 (second purchase)

 

Public Works Solid Waste requested bids for five (5) 35 yard refuse compactors in May, 2007, with the option of making additional purchases from that bid later in the year.  The roll-off side of the Solid Waste business has continued to increase in demand.  The division has been working with high volume producers on efficient collection methods for their business or schools.  The school district is planning to increase use of compactor services in the immediate future.  The division needs to acquire 4 additional compactor containers to meet the service demands.  The units cost is re-couped through monthly rental rates to the businesses.  Below is a summary of the price per unit for additional purchases from the May bid, and the extension for this particular purchase.
