ORDINANCE NO. 8152

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCE, KANSAS ALLOWING THE TEMPORARY SALE, POSSESSION, AND CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOLIC LIQUOR ON CERTAIN SPECIFIED PUBLIC PROPERTY

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCE, KANSAS:

SECTION 1.  Pursuant to Code Section 4-105(E), the sale, possession, and consumption of alcoholic liquor on public property shall not apply to that portion of East 8^th Street between Massachusetts Street and New Hampshire Street on September 14, 2007, between the hours of 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 a.m.; provided the sale is pursuant to City and State temporary licenses. 

SECTION 2.  This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its adoption and publication as provided by law.
