RE:	Appointments to Boards and Commissions

I recommend the following individuals for the appointments listed below.  I have included phone numbers, if available.  Please feel free to call any of them to discuss their potential appointments.  I believe they are willing to answer your questions or receive any comments you might have.

Community Commission on Homelessness:

Appoint Jeanette Collier to the vacant position held by Helen Hartnett, which expires 12/31/08.  Appoint Wes Dahlberg to the vacant position held by Rick Marquez, which expirs 12/31/09.  Appoint Charlotte Knoche to a term that will expire 12/31/08.  After this one year term, Ms. Knoche will be eligible to serve two full consecutive terms.

Hospital Board:

Appoint Dan Lambert (856.6158) to the position being vacated by Lindy Eakin on 09/30/07.  Mr. Lambert’s term will epire 09/30/11.  Reappoint Verdell Taylor (865.1589) to his second full term which would expire 09/30/11.
