RE:	Appointments to Boards and Commissions

I recommend the following individuals for the appointments listed below.  I have included phone numbers, if available.  Please feel free to call any of them to discuss their potential appointments.  I believe they are willing to answer your questions or receive any comments you might have.

Lawrence Arts Commission:

Appoint Matthew Herren (843.2033) to the un-expired position held by James Schaefer, which expires 03/31/08.

Neighborhood Resources Advisory Committee:

Reappoint Kristen Roussel to an additional term that would expire 09/30/10.  Appoint Aimee Polson (832.0232) to the position being vacated by Michael Randolph on 09/30/07.  Ms. Polson’s term will expire 09/30/10.  Reappoint Susan Mangan to an additional term that would expire 09/30/10.

Public Transit Advisory Board:

Appoint Mark Hurt (766.2293) to the un-expired position held by James Dermody, which expires 12/31/09.

Sustainability Advisory Board:

Appoint Matt Lehrman (749.5397) to the un-expired position held by Brent Swain, which expires 12/31/07.
