RE:	Lot 2 Greenbrier Addition (MS-05-07-07) Ordinance Variance Request

Please include the following item on the City Commission consent agenda for consideration at the August 14, 2007 meeting:

Approval of the request by Bo Newsom, property owner of Lot 2 Greenbrier Addition, for a variance from 19-214B of the code which states that a private sanitary sewer service line shall not be located in a City public right of way for greater than 15 feet.  The proposed sanitary sewer main extension for Lot 2 will result in a service line that has a length of 20 feet within the right of way.  The service line will not be located under pavement or sidewalk. 

Action Request.  Utility Department staff requests approval from the City Commission to grant the requested variance from 19-214B of the code for Lot 2 of Greenbrier Addition.
