ONE (1) ½ TON PICKUP – PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT – B07051

The Parks and Recreation Department requested bids for a ½ ton pickup.  It will be used to carry up to 2000 lbs. of supplies such as lumber fertilizer, grass seed, rock, and other supplies on a daily basis.  It also may be used to pull a trailer containing equipment and riding mowers.  It is to replace unit 595 that has high mileage and maintenance costs and qualifies for replacement under the Maintenance Garage guidelines.  This purchase was approved in the 2007 budgeting process.
