Subject: Meals On Wheels Garage Sale Signs

Lawrence Meals On Wheels is having its 3rd annual garage sale to benefit those that can't afford our services on their own.  In over 38 years we have never had to turn anyone away due to their inability to pay.

Our sale is Aug. 11th from 7AM - 1PM at AAPS Storage at 2400 Franklin Rd.

We respectfully request that we be allowed to place garage sale signs in and around the area starting at 6AM that morning.  We will remove the signs no later than 2pm. the 11th.

We would like to place the sale signs at the major intersections starting at 23rd and Haskell and then at 23rd and Harper as well as a larger sign at K-10 and 1650 Rd. The larger sign will be no larger than 4ft. x 4ft. and will only be out during the actual sale and then removed immediately.

2400 Franklin Rd. is somewhat difficult to find and so these signs are very important to the success of our event.

The signs will be simple and read only "GARAGE SALE" with an arrow to direct people to AAPS Storage.  The larger sign may read "Meals On Wheels Garage Sale" with arrows pointing in the appropriate direction.
