11th and Illinois stormwater project complete
The Stormwater Crew has been replacing the old 24” clay tile pipe with new 24” concrete pipe along 11th Street in front of Memorial Stadium. Along with the pipe we replaced two inlets and added a third one on the north side of 11th Street. The inlets were positioned in line with the gutter to allow for better drainage and additional wheelchair ramps on each corner. The crew had it completed within 21 working days start to finish. Please see the attached photos of the work in progress.
