RE:	Appointments to Boards and Commissions

I recommend the following individuals for the appointments listed below.  I have included phone numbers, if available.  Please feel free to call any of them to discuss their potential appointments.  I believe they are willing to answer your questions or receive any comments you might have.

Community Development Grant Review Board:

Appoint Andrew Brown (841.0206) to the position vacated by Kirk Wiesner, which expires 12/31/07.

Convention & Visitors Bureau Advisory Board:

Reappoint Michael Moore (749.7555) to an additional term that will expire 07/01/11.

Douglas County Emergency Management:

Reappoint Truman “Bud” Waugh, 843.6670, to an additional term that would expire 07/01/08.

Historic Resources Commission:

Appoint Alan Wiechert (842.5467) to the position vacated by Sven Alstrom, which would expire 03/01/10.

Neighborhood Resources Advisory Committee:

Appoint Kristen Roussel to the at-large position vacated by Greg Moore, which expires 09/30/07.  Ms. Roussel was serving on NRAC as the Brookcreek representative, but moved out of the neighborhood and she had to resign that position.  With Commission approval, I would like to move Ms. Roussel into the at-large position and since she would not be fulfilling a full term, she would be eligible in September to be reappointed to an additional term.
