FIVE (5) 35 YARD REFUSE COMPACTORS – #B07041

 

Public Works Solid Waste requested bids for five (5) 35 yard refuse compactors.  The roll-off side of the Solid Waste business has continued to increase in demand.  The division has been working with high volume producers on efficient collection methods for their business or schools.  We have had lots of demand for 35 yard compactor units.  The units cost is re-couped through monthly rental rates to the businesses.  We also requested a per unit price in case we would need extra units before the end of summer.  The purchase of refuse compactors was budgeted in the 2007 budgeting process.
