Disposal of Equipment

Nearly every year the Utilities sells scrap water meters, scrap pipe, and obsolete equipment by sealed bid.  Before 2000 the City sold vehicles by sealed bid. Between 2000 and 2002 vehicles were sold by Nationwide Auction Service.  In 2003 we began selling vehicles on ebay through the middle of 2005 when we began selling them on Gov Deals.

Future Cooperative

The City, County and School District are discussing going out for an RFP for printing service and janitorial supplies.  We think there is potential for cost and time savings in both areas but the City will have to get more standardized for the printing service.
