Big Rigs a Big Success

Big Rigs for Lil’ Kids was held on Saturday, May 12th at the Holcom Parks Sports Complex. The event, organized by the Parks & Recreation Department with cooperation from other City departments, was attended by 300-400 people. Children were able to get close to their favorite kinds of heavy equipment and vehicles, including a fire truck, police car, dump truck, trash truck, tractors and mowers. The event was very successful, and staff hopes to make it an annual event with an expanded selection of “big rigs.” Please see attached photos of the event.
