RE:              Monthly Building Permit report

The department issued 201 building permits during the month of April, the same number issued in April 2006.  During the first four months of the year a total of 657 permits have been issued, 851 permits were issued for the same period in 2006. 

A review of the permit history reveals 59 single-family permits issued this year, 78 single-family building permits were issued for the four month period in 2006.  A total of 111 building permits have been issued this year for remodel work compared to 95 building permits issued for the four month period in 2006. 

Fees collected for the month were $78,800.88 as compared to $58,160.50 for the month of April 2006.  A total of $202,623.27 have been collected in building permit fee revenue this year, last year the revenues collected for the same period were at $280,399.25.  Let me know if you have any questions related to this report.
