ORDINANCE NO. 8107

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 17, OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCE, KANSAS, 2001 ADDITION AND AMENDMENTS THERETO,       RELATING TO SPEED LIMITS.

          BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF LAWRENCE, KANSAS:

SECTION I:  From and after the effectiveness of this ordinance and the installation of appropriate traffic control devices, the Speed Limit on 15^th Street from 270 feet east of Engel Road to 195 feet west of Engel Road shall be 20 MPH when beacons are flashing.

SECTION II.  The City Engineer is hereby directed to amend the Schedule of Speed Limits, maintained by the Office of the City Engineer, to reflect the provisions of Section I.
