Project Status. The development has paid for engineering plans for the improvements necessary for Miracon Plaza. The city has requested Landplan Engineering to provide additional engineering for associated improvements; the fee, $2,040. The development has agreed to allow the city to bid the project and will provide sufficient funds for their portions of the project. The project will be completed this summer.
Project Funding. The city’s portion is estimated at $60,000 and will be paid from the annual maintenance program funding. The development will pay for their proportional share. This agreement provides an opportunity for Public Works to stretch the city budget and make more substantial improvements to a section of street that needs repair.
