ONE (1) ½ TON PICKUP WITH TOMMY LIFT TAIL GATE

UTILITIES DEPARTMENT – B07030

Utilities Department is requesting to buy one ½ ton pickup with a tommy lift tail gate.  It will be used by the plant maintenance crew for daily repair of the water plants, water towers and wells.  It will routinely carry 500 to 2000 pounds of tools and equipment.  A ½ ton pickup Is necessary not only because of the load it will carry but it will also pull a trailer that will carry up to 8000 pounds.  It is to replace Unit 255 an 11 year old pickup with high mileage and maintenance costs.  This pickup was budgeted in the 2007 budgeting process.
