ONE (1) ¾ TON CREW CAB AND CHASSIS – PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT – B07010
Public Works/Street Division requested bids for A ¾ ton crew cab and chassis. The Maintenance Garage plans to put a flatbed on the chassis that has been removed from another vehicle. It will be used by the concrete crew to transport construction supplies, small equipment, staff, and tow large equipment. The truck is to replace Unit 341 which was taken out of service in September due to a bad transmission and it is not cost effective to be repaired or replaced. This purchase was approved in the 2007 budgeting process.
