RE:              Monthly Building Permit report

Attached to this memorandum find building permit data for the month of January 2007 and for comparison purposes, building permits issued for the month of January 2006.  Last month the department issued 120 building permits as compared to 171 permits during the month of January 2006. 

Fees collected for the month were $23,847.64 as compare to $31,377.25 for the month of January 2006.  In relation to fewer building permits issued, the valuation of permits issued last month is at $2,475,473 as compared to a valuation of $3,406,342 for the same period last year.  Let me know if you have any questions related to this report.
