3.      Airport Manager's Report

Debbie Van Saun, Airport Manager reviewed her report.  A copy of the report is attached.  Debbie informed the Board that the 2006 taxiway project was completed with eight days remaining on the contract.  She credited Hamm’s construction and the City’s inspection process for the timely completion.  She also informed the Board that her CIP plan would be due in early February and that any changes in priorities should be discussed at the January Board meeting.

4.      FBO Report

Lloyd Hetrick informed the Board that he had received several inquiries from tenants of Leavenworth Airport regarding hangar space. He said that this facility, which has served both military and civilian operations, may be phasing out its general aviation activities which would result in 16-20 airplanes being relocated to other airports.  Bob Newton suggested that this may be an opportune time to consider additional t-hangars.  Debbie Van Saun said that there are currently 13 persons on the waiting list and that she is closely monitoring demand for additional hangar space.
