RE:              Appointments to boards and commissions

I recommend the following individuals for the appointments listed below.  I have included phone numbers, if available.  Please feel free to call any of them to discuss their potential appointments.  I believe they are willing to answer your questions or receive any comments you might have.

Lawrence Alliance:

Appoint Chris Keary (841.8160) to a vacant term that will expire 11/30/08.

Lawrence Arts Commission:

Reappoint Sandra Wiechert (842.5467), Elizabeth Hatchett (749.3224), and Donna Griffin (842.3800) to additional terms that will expire 12/31/10.  Appoint Thomas King (832.7211) to his first full term that will expire 12/31/10.

Lawrence Bicycle Advisory Committee:

Appoint Stephanie Bishop (865.2664), Michael Hajdu (841.5662), and Steve Guinn (840.5830) to positions that will expire 12/31/09.
