Please include the following item on the City Commission Consent Agenda for consideration at the November 28, 2006 meeting.

Project Description:  2006 Crack Seal Program

Project Status:  Vance Brothers was awarded the 2006 Crack Seal project.  The contractor completed placing over 375,000 lbs. of material on approximately 93 miles of streets.  The streets selected for crack seal were predominately residential with a PCI of >60.

Action Request:  The original bid ($452,500) received in February 2006 was under the budgeted amount.  The contractor is finishing up with the originally scoped work and we would like to add an additional $19,800 (16,500 lbs.) to the contract.

Authorize City Manager to increase the contract with Vance Brothers in the amount of $19,800.
