Please include the following item on the City Commission Consent Agenda for consideration at the October 24^th meeting:

Project History. 

The Riverfront Parking/New Hampshire Parking Garage repair project was awarded to Western Waterproofing Inc. During the repairs a void was found when concrete repairs were being made. The void is located under the ramp going from the upper level to the Rhode Island exit. It was caused by a failed expansion joint where the ramp meets the upper level. Water has penetrated the failed expansion joint. A new expansion joint is being installed under the original contract.

Project Status. 

The original project is in progress.

Project Details.

The additional work includes removal of additional concrete to find the extent of the void. The area will be repaired and new concrete will be installed.

Project Funding. 

Parking Reserve Fund and Capital Improvement Reserve Fund.

Action Request. 

Approve change order in the amount of $14,112.00, and provide an additional five (5) calendar days to perform the work.
