CITY COMMISSION - REPORT SUMMARY

CPA-2005-02:  Joint City Ordinance/County Resolution follow-up to the previously approved update to Chapter 9, Horizon 2020, Park, Recreation, Open Space Areas and Facilities. (PC Misc. No 1; approved 8-1 on 9/25/06-CC approved CPA-2005-02 on 8/15/06)

The Douglas County Commission approved the chapter revisions on June 12, 2006 and the Lawrence City Commission on August 15, 2006.

On September 25, 2006, the Planning Commission passed Planning Commission Resolution 2006-02 for the approved update to Chapter 9 – Park, Recreation, Open Space Areas and Facilities.

Following the Planning Commission’s Resolution, the final action to complete the chapter update is a joint ordinance/resolution to be passed by both the County Commission and City Commission.
