Dear City Commission Members:

Pilot Club of Lawrence would appreciate the approval from the City Commission to place a sign at the northwest corner of Harper and 23rd streets, on the US Bank property, to read:

ANTIQUE SHOW (with an arrow pointing north to direct traffic to the Fairgrounds and comparable in size to a real estate sign, approximately 3'x3').

The sign would be put up on the morning of the first day of the three-day show, October 27, 2006, and taken down at the end of the last day of the show, October 29, 2006.

Pilot Club of Lawrence, established in 1958 and part of Pilot International, is an organization of executive, business and professional women working together to improve the quality of life in our local community.  Pilot Club of Lawrence selects and directs their own civic and service projects with emphasis on helmet safety programs for elementary grades, epilepsy research, Health Care Access, Ballard Center, and ECKAN.
