RE:	Vacation of Portion of Drainage Easement

On October 3, 2006 the City Commission will hold a public hearing to consider the partial vacation of a drainage easement on Lot 58, Block 1, Deerfield Woods Subdivision No. 8.  The owner, Frank W. Salb, proposes to vacate the drainage easement, except the south most 15 feet, to allow for a lot split which will meet all size requirements for the present RS-2 zoning. 

All utilities, as well as property owners within 200 feet, were notified.  No objections were received.  The City Stormwater Engineer has also approved this vacation.

Action Requested:     Hold public hearing and, pending discussion, approve order of vacation.
