RE: Appointments to boards and commissions

I recommend the following individuals for the appointments listed below. I have included phone numbers, if available. Please feel free to call any of them to discuss their potential appointments. I believe they are willing to answer your questions or receive any comments you might have.

Human Relations Commission:

Reappoint Barbara Hillmer and Robert W. Augelli, Ph.D., to additional terms that will expire 09/30/09.

Jayhawk Area Agency on Aging:

Appoint Lisa Johnson (218.4959) to the vacant position that expires 09/30/06. Ms. Johnson’s first full term will expire 09/30/09.

Lawrence-Douglas County Advocacy Council on Aging:

Appoint Bob Lewis (841.6657) to the un-expired positon that expires 12/31/07.

Neighborhood Resources Advisory Committee:

Appoint Susan Mangan (979.5122) to the vacant, at-large position, which expires 09/30/07.

Recycling & Resource Conservation Advisory Committee:

Appoint Brent Swain (841.0390) to the vacant position that expires 12/31/07.
