RE: Building Permit report
Single-Family building permits issued for the period January through August 2006 totaled 176, an increase of over 35% as compared to the same period for 2005 where 130 single-family permits were issued. The number of building permits issued in 2006 for duplex units is at 17, as compared to 35 in 2005, and commercial building permits issued are at 12, as compared to 16 for the same period.
As of August 31, 2006 a total 1882 building permits have been issued, compared to 1854 building permits for the 2005 period. Also, attached to this memorandum find the building permit activity reports for the 2005 and 2006 eight month period described above. Let me know if you have any questions.
