September 7:           City Commission executive session, 4:30 – 6:00 p.m. to discuss non-elected personnel matters.  Location:  City Manager’s Conference Room, Fourth Floor, City Hall.  (Commissioner Rundle will need to appear by conference call and so will two other persons)

 

September 8:           Ribbon Cutting – 11:30 a.m., Schmidt Builders Supply 2nd location, 1000 E. 11th Street.  Mayor Amyx presiding.

 

September 9:           Mayor Amyx to participate in Jericho activities.

 

September 13:         Chamber of Commerce Fall Mixer, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.  Location:  Meadowbrook Apartments, Bob Billings Pkwy & Crestline Drive.

 

September 14:         Study Session:  Final report from Management Partners on performance measurement and management program – 9:00 a.m., City Commission Room, First Floor, City Hall.

 

September 14:         City Commissioners will be touring several facilities in Topeka, including:  Topeka Public Library, Topeka Rescue Mission, and Hummer Sports Complex immediately following the study session on Thursday, September 14, 2006.

 

September 14:         Ribbon Cutting – 4:30 p.m., for Crystal Swearingen, Airborne Representative, Chamber Offices, 734 Vermont Street.  Commissioner Schauner presiding.

 

September 17:         Mayor Amyx to participate in the 152nd Birthday celebration band concert, 6:00 p.m., South Park Gazebo.

 

September 18:         Mayor Amyx to address opening session of 2006 Central States Law Enforcement Executive Development Seminar (CS LEEDS)., 7:50 a.m. Adams Alumni Center.

 

September 19:         Mayor Amyx to address opening session of the 2006 Kansas Manufactured Housing Association Annual meeting, 2:30 p.m.  Location:  Springhill Suites, Naismith A Ballroom.

 

September 20:         Mayor Amyx to attend Central National Bank Advisory Board Quarterly Round Table Discussion, 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.  Location to be determined.
