RE: |
|
The
referenced property has been inspected and found to be in violation of the City
Environmental Code. The property is blighted with a large damaged tree and
garage structure that has sustained extensive damage by the collapse of the
tree.
The owner
of record is: Eva M Vlach-Backus
Due to the
dangerous condition of this property with regard to the garage and tree, I am
requesting that a resolution be adopted declaring the property environmentally
blighted and ordering the property owner to remove violations within 20 days.
Should the property owner fail to remove the violations, the City will contract
to have the blight removed.
A brief
chronology of recent contact is as follows:
June 21 2006 Inspected, found property in violation with a severely damaged
tree. Mailed courtesy letter.
July 20 2006 Inspected, no change. Mailed Notice of Violation for the damaged
tree and the damaged garage structure. (Notice claimed by Eva Vlach 8/14/06)
Aug 28 2006 Inspected, no change. Took pictures. (Also property is overgrown – mailed notice
for this).
Attached are
pictures of the subject property. Please
let me know if you have questions concerning this. Thank you.
