RE:	Federal-aid STP Safety Projects

Attached are the cost to benefit ratio reports for two projects completed through the KDOT Safety Program.

The project at 27^th and Iowa included adding a left turn lane and upgrading the signals. The percent of reduced crashes is 42.42% which provides a benefit/cost ratio of 12.81.

The project at 23^rd and Barker included adding a left-turn lane and upgrading the signals. The reduction in crashes is 62.07% providing a cost benefit ratio of 9.36.
