Authorize the
Project Description/History: The
Utilities Department intends to replace existing sanitary sewer pump stations
in North
Project Status/ Details:
February
2005: The City
entered into an Engineering Services Agreement with Bartlett & West Engineers
for designing modifications to the pump stations.
September
2005: Design development had resulted in a need for additional
land to accommodate larger pump stations. In order to combine several steps related to
land acquisition: re-platting,
re-zoning, and changing rights-of-way, Bartlett and West prepared documents
related to the Uses Permitted upon Review (UPR) process.
December
2005: The City provisionally approved the pump
station site plans.
March 2006:
The City completed purchases for additional land.
June 2006:
Bartlett and West Engineers completed designs for the three pump
stations.
July 2006:
Bids were opened on July 25, 2006; five contractors responded.
