2006 Cured In Place Pipe (CIPP) Project

The
2006 CIPP Project work area was concentrated on downtown

was the contractor on the project. I-Con began work on April 18, 2006, pre-cleaning,
televising and installing liners along

total of 16,481 feet (3.12 miles) of city sewer main were rehabilitated. The
contracted price for the project was $459,102 plus a $9,400 change order for
the line at 17th and
Over
all, I-Con did an excellent job again this year, working very well with the
businesses downtown to minimize disruptions (such as providing portable restrooms
for customers, minimizing traffic disruptions and answering project questions).
There were a couple of incidents where water in a bathroom was blown out of the
traps while they were jetting, but I-Con cleaned up any reported blow back.
The 2006 CIPP Project was very successful and
the work completed will add many more years of service to existing lines.
