August 8:                   The City Commission will meet in a study session style format from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. with Springsted, Inc.  After a short recess for dinner, the regular meeting will begin in the City Commission Room at approximately 6:35 p.m.

 

August 10:                Mayor Amyx to participate on panel of local and state elected officials discussing public service with students in the Madison & Lila Self Graduate Fellowship from 8:45 – 10:15 a.m., Kansas Union.

 

August 14:                Wakarusa Water Reclamation Facility Public Meeting – 6:30 – 7:30 p.m., City Commission Room First Floor, City Hall.

 

August 15:                Ribbon Cutting – Pinnacle Career Institute, 1601 W. 23rd Street, #200 – 11:30 a.m.  Commissioner Rundle presiding.

 

August 16:                Mayor Amyx to attend the DLI Membership Meeting, 8:30 a.m., Eldridge Hotel.

 

August 16:                Economic Development opportunities at Clinton Reservoir meeting from 1:30 – 3:00 p.m. at the Lawrence Public Library, 707 Vermont Street.
