RE: |
|
The
referenced property has been inspected and found to be in violation of the City
Environmental Code. The property is blighted with several abandoned/damaged
vehicles and debris/brush accumulations.
The owners
of record are: Frank Britton, Matthew
Britton
Due to the
length of time that this has been ongoing, I am requesting that a resolution be
adopted declaring the property environmentally blighted and ordering the
property owner to remove violations within 20 days. Should the property owner
fail to remove the violations, the City will contract to have the blight
removed. Expenses incurred for this would be the responsibility of the property
owner of record.
A brief
chronology of recent contact is as follows:
March 9 2006 Inspected, found property in violation with two fire damaged
vehicles in rear yard/driveway, also area is littered with trash and
brush/debris. Mailed courtesy letter.
April 4 2006 Inspected, no change. Mailed Notice of Violation (was returned
unclaimed).
July 17 2006 Inspected, no change. Took pictures. (Also property is overgrown at alley – mailed
separate notice for this).
Attached are
pictures of the subject property. Please
let me know if you have questions concerning this. Thank you.
