RE: 2006 Building Permits issued January to June 30, 2006

Single-Family building permits issued for the period January through June 2006 totaled 148, an increase of over 80% as compared to the same period for 2005 where 82 single-family permits were issued. The number of building permits issued in 2006 for Duplex units are at 15, as compared to 22 in 2005, and commercial building permits issued are at 9, as compared to 13 for the same period.

As of June 30, 2006 a total 1366 building permits have been issued, 1256 building permits were issued during the first half of 2005. Attached to this memorandum find building permit activity reports for the 2005 and 2006 six-month period described. Let me know if you have any questions.
