On behalf of the Brook Creek Neighborhood Association (BCNA), I wish to express neighborhood support of the proposed Tenants To Homeowners development project on Bullene Street. BCNA has traditionally supported Tenants to Homeowners and its mission; we feel strongly that the proposed development would make a positive contribution to both the neighborhood and the city of Lawrence by providing affordable housing to area residents. Given that this particular area has historically experienced significant drainage issues, however, I urge the City of Lawrence to address drainage problems along the Burroughs Creek corridor while planning for the development of this land.

The BCNA wishes Tenants To Homeowners much success with its development plans in our neighborhood.
