SEWAGE PUMP FOR PUMP STATION #9 – UTILITIES DEPARTMENT – #B06031
Utilities Department requested bids for a sewage pump at pump station #9, located at 3613 Brush Creek. The pump is a standby/spare for the two existing pumps. This is a large station serving a substantial portion of southwest Lawrence. This additional pump will allow staff to respond to emergency repairs quickly and perform scheduled pump maintenance without compromising reliability. This purchase was approved in the 2006 budgeting process.
