Please include the following item on the City Commission consent agenda for consideration at the June 27, 2006 meeting:

Project History.  The Community Health Facility is located at 200 Maine St. and has been occupied since August of 1999.  Since completion of the construction and initial tenant occupation, all HVAC service work for this facility has been contracted out.

Project Details/Status.  Building Maintenance solicited proposals for maintenance service, repair, labor, and parts for the HVAC system, excluding compressor replacement costs.  Only one bid was received.  The bid received was for a one-year contract, with an option for a two-year renewal. 

 

Project Funding

 

The contract will be paid from account 001.2500.565.26-09.

 

Action Request

 

Approve bid from Chaney Inc. in the amount of $19,500.00.
